Long Time No Blog...Don't forget to check out the slide show!

Well, once again I have found myself forgetting or more like neglecting this blog. So, rather than post a huge litany of what we have been doing in February I'll give you the bullet point run down.
  • Charlotte started gymnastics and had 4 sessions. I don't know if she fell in love with it but she did like running around. I think we'll try for the April session again.
  • I finished my last week of work last Sunday so now I am officially just waiting until Baby #2 comes along. While I am 37 weeks today, my Doctor pretty confident she'll let me go early. So, I suppose in my mind, I only have 2 weeks left and at most 3!
  • Kevin has been pretty sick this month, particularly the last half. He just has this nasty virus he can't seem to shake. I want him to just rest and do nothing so that I can have a healthy husband when our new addition comes along.
  • Charlotte and I have been doing lots of baking...and by lots I mean more than nothing. We have been baking a couple of cakes and cookies. I'm also trying out new recipes for dinner because I'm getting pretty bored with the same old thing....so if any of you have some suggestions I am ALL ears.
  • Charlotte and I have been trying to fill our times with lots of play dates and activities but this darn weather will NOT let up. I'm so sick of this snow I could puke!
  • Kevin's birthday was this month, on the 24th and Charlotte and I made Kevin his favorite dinner, "Tator Tot Hot Dish" and made him Chocolate cake. Since Kevin loves working in the garden we got him some Top soil and a bunch of different seeds to prepare for the spring. We started planting them in the bottom half of the gallon milk containers and but them in our bay window in the kitchen. He also got an Ipod Arm band from us for running and by the way I've been feeling these days, I think I'll need that too (after the baby that is).
  • My dad made a beautiful dresser/closet piece for Charlotte and her new sibling. Because we need to conserve as much space in this house as possible I wanted to have something that would hold both of their clothes and look nice. My dad did a great job. Eventually, probably after the summer, our 2 kids will be sharing a room so the less clutter the better.
  • Speaking of clutter though.....I AM SO PUMPED about garage saling!
  • Charlotte is getting a new computer today and we got her a desk this weekend. My dad is getting the computer set up for her and we were fortunate enough for him to give us an older computer he fixed up. I think it's a great idea, especially for her to have something constructive all to herself when this baby comes. IF any of you have any great beginner computer games, like numbers and the alphabet, let me know!
